About Johnny

Johnny Blassingame represents a variety of businesses in commercial and consumer litigation throughout Oklahoma and Texas. He regularly defends recreational vehicle manufacturers and dealers against warranty, consumer, and product liability claims in both court and administrative settings. He also represents corporate trust companies and financial services institutions in disputes involving accounts, fiduciary obligations, and trust interpretation. Johnny has successfully defended life, health, and accidental death insurers in first-party bad faith cases throughout his career. His practice further includes prosecuting complex interpleader actions in both state and federal courts.

In addition to assisting his clients with litigation, Johnny serves as outside general counsel to a broad array of businesses in Oklahoma and Texas, advising on contracts, regulatory compliance issues, employment law, insurance coverage matters, and commercial collections. His transactional work includes stock and asset purchases, petroleum product supply agreements, commercial real estate transactions, construction agreements, and municipal contracts.

Prior to joining the Rudnicki Firm, Johnny was a partner with the Kerr, Irvine, Rhodes & Ables and subsequently Hampton Barghols Pierce firms in Oklahoma City.

EDUCATION

Johnny was raised in Tuscola, Texas, graduating from Jim Ned Highschool and subsequently Texas Tech University. He attended law school at the University of Oklahoma. He enjoys spending time with his wife Kim (a practicing dentist and Oklahoma City native) and coaching his two sons in youth basketball and football.
